Through Gwinnett Humane Society’s Foster Home program, our volunteers and their families open their hearts and homes to provide comfort and care for homeless and unwanted animals in our community while they await adoption through our Placement program. Many of these foster animals enter our lives only for a brief time before they are placed in new and loving homes. While these adoptions warm our hearts and fill us with a sense of pride, our true accomplishments sometimes come in very different packages. Often times, we find ourselves faced with animals in need of costly, extensive medical treatment, sometimes forcing us to make critical decisions.
What is the SUNSHINE FUND?
The Sunshine Fund allows you to help make a difference in the lives of these
animals. Through your donation to this fund, you can help “spread a little sunshine”
and allow them the second chance they so truly deserve.
How will my money be used?
These special animals will be profiled in our Sunshine Spotlight on our website
and in our quarterly and online newsletters. Your donation will enable us to
provide the veterinary care and rehabilitation necessary to place these animals
for adoption. We will follow their progress and share their journey with you
as they travel down the road to health and happiness.
All donations designated to the Sunshine Fund will be applied to expenses for animals profiled under the Sunshine program.
