A special THANKS to Judy, Jim and their dog Cheyenne of Wild Birds Unlimited Nature Shop in Suwanee!
Judy and Jims dog, Cheyenne, turned 2 in August. To celebrate, Cheyenne helped other dogs that are not as fortunate as her by "paying it forward". In the month of August they gave a discount to customers who brought in dog food and all that food, a total of 526 lbs, was donated to the Gwinnett Humane Society! It was very needed and very much appreciated! Thank you on behalf of our volunteers and all the animals in our foster home program!!
For her birthday this year, Niamh invited her friends to bring items from our WISH LIST as presents for the animals in our adoption program in lieu of birthday gifts for herself. Her friends - Ellie, Lilly, Gracie, Kinzy, Maiah, and Isabella - jumped at the chance and, together collected a great stash of goodies for our adoptable babies. Naimh got to meet some of the available animals when she dropped off her donations, including Noodle. We are very grateful for the donation and touched by Naimh's generous heart as well as the generosity of her friends. Through your efforts, you have truly helped make a difference! Thank you!
(more info about Noodle can be found under our Sunshine Spotlight on our DONATE page)
